Plucky Paycare team members will be taking to the skies to help support The Haven Wolverhampton!
The team jumped at the chance to take part in the charity’s 50th anniversary skydive.
We’re helping them raise £1,200 which will be used to support services for women and children vulnerable to domestic abuse and homelessness.
Our Partnerships Manager Sally said:
“My reason for taking part is two-fold. A skydive has been on my bucket list for a while and I was looking to complete a challenge this year!
“The Haven is a charity we work closely with at Paycare and is very close to my heart. Helping them celebrate their 50th anniversary by taking part in this exciting event seemed like the perfect challenge.
“At the moment I’m excited but I’m not sure if I’ll feel the same on 11th June!”
And Anthony added:
“I’ve always wanted to throw myself out of a plane, and what better reason to do it than to help The Haven’s 50th year!
“They provide such an incredibly valuable service to some of the most vulnerable in our community. Long may they continue.”
It’s the latest in an ongoing partnership between ourselves and The Haven Wolverhampton – Sally has previously undertaken a Fire Walk for them, we regularly sponsor their quiz events, and we’ve also contributed towards their Language Line – a specialist interpretation service which enables those who speak 240 other languages to access much-needed help.
