Virtual course

Become a Mental Health First Aider

£225

per person

Course overview

This virtual course is the equivalent to our regular two-day course and qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider, giving you an in-depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing, alongside practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues.

You’ll build the confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress with non-judgemental listening. Knowledge gained on this course will equip you with the tools to encourage someone to recover their health and guide them to further support.

Delivery

This course is delivered remotely, by our MHFA accredited team. To support the flexibility of the course around other commitments, the four manageable sessions are split into independent study and live hosted sessions.

Built around a Mental Health First Aid action plan, each element of the course offers a balanced mixture of digital presentations, virtual group discussions and remote workshop activities.

Virtually the same

Whilst we really look forward to a time where we can offer these sessions face to face, for now we have worked hard to build a training package for remote delivery. We’re able to support you with your MHFA journey and accredit you with the same fantastic skills, safely and comfortably though the wonderful world of technology.

This course includes

A certificate of attendance to say you are Mental Health Aware

A Mental Health manual to refer to whenever you need it

A workbook including a helpful toolkit to support your own mental health

A quick reference card for the Mental Health First Aid action plan

You’ll also get
