Celebrating 150 years of empowering people to become healthier and happier

Paycare has an extra special reason to be celebrating in 2024… it’s our 150th birthday!

150 years is an incredible milestone for any organisation, so to mark this historical achievement we are delighted to invite our policyholders, network of partners and wider community to celebrate with us.

During 2024, we’ll be kicking off a whole host of exciting activities and events with plenty of opportunities to join in the fun. Watch this space!

Great value Health Cash Plans since 1874

Founded in 1874 to protect factory workers from crippling medical bills, Paycare is built on the belief that everybody should have access to high quality healthcare – and this remains absolutely central to our mission today. We’ve since helped millions of people claim back the cost of everyday treatments from optical and dental to physiotherapy, diagnostic tests and mental wellbeing support.

150 years of amazing people and achievements

As a non-for-profit organisation, we’re especially proud to have raised over £2.5million for charity to date which has been distributed to causes close to our hearts locally, nationally and beyond. We take great pride in supporting the vibrant communities around us too, sponsoring everything from grassroots sports clubs and accessible entertainment to arts projects, toy collections and food banks.

Our achievements so far:

Volunteering days committed

Pounds pledged towards charitable activity

Hours of time dedicated

.. and counting!

What we’ve been up to…
