Today I would like to highlight the hard work, character, and vision of two of my colleagues: Kevin Rogers and Anthony Burns.

Our retiring CEO, Kevin has spent almost as a decade at the helm of Paycare, having joined the organisation nearly 15 years ago.

Much more than this, he has also been an integral part of Wolverhampton’s business community and of the various charities, good causes and sports teams championed during that time.

On behalf of the board, I thank him for evolving Paycare against the backdrop of some incredibly challenging events; for embedding a real “can do” culture across the business, empowering everyone to take an active role in Paycare’s continued success. Such commitment has created a solid platform for the company’s future, following his retirement.

I’m pleased to confirm that the necessary regulatory approvals have been granted to enable Anthony Burns to step into the role of CEO.

Anthony has been the driving force of our success, as Commercial Director, since joining us in 2013. He has shown such dedication and insight that we are wholly confident he will build on Kevin’s legacy, leading us into our 150th year and further.

The in-depth knowledge he already has of our sector, our organisation and its valued policyholders will ensure a smooth handover – and that Paycare’s aim of ‘making our policy holders happier and healthier’ will remain at the forefront of every decision he makes in running the business.

Anthony has full and enthusiastic support of the board and of his Paycare colleagues. We all wish him every success.
