Alongside fellow Wolverhampton-based business, FBC Mandy Bowdler, we have signed up to WCCU’s payroll deduction scheme which enables our teams to benefit from flexible savings as well as access to affordable and ethical loans.
As three Wolverhampton-based businesses all committed to protecting the welfare of our staff and bringing valuable benefits to the communities we serve, this partnership was a natural fit for us and we are hugely excited about the opportunity to be able to further support the health and wellbeing of local people.
“Money worries are one of the major causes of stress for individuals and can lead to a number of serious issues including clinical depression and homelessness, with the problem having been exacerbated in recent times with the growing prevalence of payday lenders operating poor and unfair practices,” explained Matt Goulding, WCCU’s Manager.
“This scheme plays a significant part in helping deal with these issues and we’re hugely excited that both Paycare and FBC Manby Bowdler have become our very first members, demonstrating further commitment to their teams and communities they serve.”
As part of the agreement, all of WCCU’s own employees will be encouraged to look after their physical and mental health and wellbeing through access to Paycare’s health cash plan policies, enabling individuals to claim money back on everyday healthcare costs such as optical and dental treatments.
