A company sharing the joy of reading across the UK is supporting its staff by signing up to a Paycare Health Cash Plan (HCP).

The 12-strong team at Willoughby Book Club learned more about the benefits of their HCP and extra perks like newsletters, the MyPaycare portal, and discounted mental health training at an introductory session hosted at their Leicestershire base by Paycare Corporate Account Manager Stephen Burton-Pye.

Willoughby Book Club is a subscription service, sending out books hand-picked to match the interests of the subscriber – plus, for every subscription sold they donate a new book to Book Aid International which supports vital education and literacy development across the world.

Director Marianne Chala explains:

“It’s been a really tough year for everybody, and we wanted a way to thank our staff and provide a tangible benefit which really took care of them. We had the opportunity to attend an introductory session led by Stephen which was organised by the My HR Hub. He was so helpful and couldn’t have been nicer, making the whole process of signing up to Paycare so easy.

“He then came here to talk us through all of the benefits and how the plan would support our wellbeing. We feel having the HCP highlights to our team the need to look after themselves and access preventative healthcare, and they’ve all been really positive about joining Paycare.

“Some of our team members are very excited about accessing the more holistic wellbeing services, while others think avoiding lengthy waiting lists to see a doctor (by using the MyPocket GP service) will be a real plus going forward.”
