Ensuring her staff had peace of mind when it came to accessing timely healthcare was a key motivator for a Black Country MD to join the growing Paycare Policyholder family.

Amy Mitchell of TinCan Comms – which provides tailored communications services for businesses including telephone and broadband systems, call recording and reporting, and computer telephony integration –  recently signed up her team to a Paycare Health Cash Plan (HCP).

“It can be such a worry if you’re having to wait a long time to access services, and I didn’t want my team to have those worries – so a HCP was the perfect solution,” she said.

“It’s easy to put ourselves last and let time go by without sorting a health issue – especially if there’s a cost associated – but with 24/7 access to a GP and being able to claim back money spent on appointments including optical and dental check-ups, that needn’t be an issue.”

When it came to choosing which provider to use, Amy was keen to use a local service: “We are based in the Black Country too, and we’re a small independent firm, so we always aim to use local and smaller companies where we can.

“Everyone at TinCan has been really pleased with Paycare so far, they’ve remarked how easy and quick the claims process is. It was great to have an introductory session led by Stephen, and he’s been amazing at providing ongoing support and answering any questions we have.”
