This year has been incredibly tough for us all and we know lots of organisations want to find out how to support staff with their mental health and wellbeing. That’s why we’re launching a series of free online sessions 💻🧠

The hour-long E-clinics are being delivered by our Wellbeing Manager Kerry Mitchell, a Mental Health First Aid qualified trainer. Mental Health England, who accredit the MHFA qualifications, is an organisation which helps thousands of people across the UK to support others with having the right conversations around mental health, every year.

Each session will focus on a different topic, including wellbeing in the workplace and the mental health impact on employees returning to work post-pandemic, as well linking to specifically to key recognised dates such as Suicide Awareness Day, World Mental Health Day, and National Stress Awareness Day.

Kerry explains:

“The health and wellbeing of employees has always been of paramount importance to Paycare and the heart of our business is in our people, our community and our customers – and with one in four people experiencing a mental health problem in any given year, let alone mid-pandemic, many companies will find themselves impacted either directly or indirectly by the pressures of 2020.

“With businesses starting to adapt to new ways of working, returning tentatively to offices left untouched for months, it’s more important than ever for managers to have plans in place to support their teams, especially given the long-term impact we anticipate the pandemic is going to have.

“Our free sessions are designed to give companies lots of information, best practice sharing and an interactive element to engage with our expertise about a specific topic in an hour. With a range of Mental Health Training courses available for companies who wish to delve further into wellbeing strategies and invest in employee wellbeing.”

In addition to the webinars, Paycare Wellbeing is also extending its online offering – to complement its pre-pandemic face-to-face mental health training programme – to include a two-day virtual accredited MHFA course.
