Physical and emotional wellbeing will be top of the agenda during two upcoming virtual workshops.

We’ve organised the free online events – each available for up to 100 people – in conjunction with long-time friend of Paycare, Corporate Wellness Provider Gemma Allies.

Gemma will be leading a yoga session between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday 31st January, open to all Paycare Policyholders – whether they have an individual plan or one facilitated through their employer.

Gemma is the founder of Wellbeing with Gemma and a 200 hour Yoga instructor, trained by the prestigious Himalaya Yoga Valley Goa.

She has planned a ‘gentle evening flow’ blending Hatha, Ashtanga and Iyengar techniques to ‘improve flexibility, deeply stretch out muscle tension, and bring harmony to the body and mind’.

Then on Valentine’s Day (Tuesday 14th February) at 11am, Gemma will lead a one-hour wellbeing workshop

This event is open to anybody, whether they have a Paycare Policy or not, and will focus on offering valuable wellbeing expertise and simple actionable steps towards improving your working and personal life.

The workshop will cover what self-care actually means, why it’s so important personally and in business, how to implement self-care techniques, finding time for self-care and what a vital role it plays within the workplace.

Attendees will be able to ask questions at the end of the hour, and HR/wellbeing managers looking for guidance on their organisation’s wellbeing offering can contact Gemma directly afterwards for a free 30-minute debrief.

Our Partnerships Manager Sally Bromley said:

“With the cold weather and post-holiday return to normality, January is often cited as a challenging month for wellbeing – especially for those who feel a little bombarded by all the advertising in the run up to Valentine’s Day.

“So we thought it was the perfect time to invite friend of Paycare, yoga trainer and wellbeing expert Gemma to lead two sessions which will focus on physical and emotional health and happiness.”
