We’re delighted that two members of our executive team have been recognised as top business leaders in the region, with two shortlists in the Business Desk’s inaugural Midlands Leadership Awards.
Our CEO Kevin Rogers and our Commercial Director Anthony Burns were both successful in beating off competition to get down to the final five in the Company Leader (up to 100 employees) and Empowering Potential categories respectively.
The event was held on 15th November 2018 at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham, and while they didn’t pick up the winning trophy sadly, they are still very much winners in our eyes!
The awards celebrate individuals who are true role models within their organisations, who are having a significant impact on the success of their organisations, and who show ‘qualities of extraordinary leadership’ – with Kevin’s unwavering commitment to spearheading positive change across the wider health sector standing out for the judges.
Kevin also impressed with his passion for the wellbeing of Paycare’s staff, and his dedication to working with specialists to provide a range of services – from mindfulness coaching to nutrition training – to ensure the optimum health and wellbeing of his team.
Anthony was shortlisted due to his commitment to unlocking the potential of all of Paycare’s staff, with judges wowed by the extensive support he provides to help the team obtain additional qualifications, progress within their role, achieve their aims, and lead their own projects too.
Ant has a genuine passion for people and is his team’s biggest champion – nurturing an environment which promotes mutual respect and encouragement, ensuring that each member of the team is supported to be the very best they can be.
