The Shorts team of more than 120 employees based across sites in Sheffield and Chesterfield have been benefitting from a Paycare Health Cash Plan (HCP) for more than five years. Like Paycare, the accountancy firm has a long history – they launched more than 130 years ago.
Reflecting on the benefits of having a HCP in place, Shorts Practice Director Michelle Frost said it was reassuring to not only be able to claim for dental, optical, physiotherapy appointments and much more – but also to have 24/7 access to a GP, and the confidential telephone helpline.
“As a Mental Health First Aider, I recommend the helpline on a regular basis. We also have posters in prominent locations at both of our sites focused on supporting staff with their wellbeing, which encourage them to ring the Paycare helpline.

“The process of claiming is so simple – it’s so easy to upload your receipts and make a claim, then you receive confirmation and the money goes back into your account very quickly.
