Experts on the menopause are set to share their knowledge with businesses from across the country during our next e-clinic.

You may know that the Paycare Wellbeing team hosts a free session each month focused around a different health subject – with guest speakers invited along to share their knowledge and top tips.

Our Wellbeing Manager Kerry B Mitchell will lead the Menopause in the Workplace e-clinic, which starts at 10am on 11th October and features Medical Herbalist Hannah Charman, Menopause Nurse Practitioner Diane Porterfield-Bourne, and MP Caroline Nokes.

Hannah will share the common – and less common – symptoms, natural remedies and self-care for a pain-free menopause; while Diane will share a case study, information about HRT and details of the work she’s been undertaking in the West Midlands.

Caroline Nokes is the MP for Romsey and Southampton North as well as chairing the Women and Equalities Committee which is conducting an inquiry into whether menopausal women are being discriminated against in the workplace.

Kerry said the session would aim to provide a snapshot of the facts and statistics relating to menopause in the workplace.

She added:

“Around a third of all women (13 million) are either menopausal or peri-menopausal, so this accounts for a good proportion of employees. It’s in organisations’ best interests to be aware of the potential symptoms and how to support their employees through this stage of their life, so we hope to see plenty of attendees joining us to hear from our fantastic speakers.”

Book your free place to the session here, or if you’d like more information about Paycare Wellbeing, you can head to the wellbeing section of this website 😊

We’re really looking forward to this panel of fantastic speakers joining us, and hope you can join us too for an important discussion about a topic which is often overlooked.

See you there! 👋🧡
