Wolverhampton-based health Cash Plan provider Paycare, has renewed its sponsorship deals both with Penn Cricket Club and Libra Lea Netball Club partnerships, which will enable both sporting facilities to make vital improvements to its sites. This will include the updating of equipment and developing the up and coming junior members, to secure the long term future of both sporting establishments.

As part of the sponsorship deal, Penn Cricket Club is developing its youth section and partnering with various schools and organisations across the region, with the goal of making it a Centre of Excellence within five years.

Ghazi Zaki, Chairman of Penn Cricket Club, explained: “We are delighted that Paycare has sponsored us again for a fourth season, and we’re thrilled to have them on board for the next few years ahead. And I would personally like to say a big thank you to Paycare for their continued support. Our club offers individuals aged between 9 and 74 the chance to enjoy competitive cricket, and most importantly it brings the community together.”

Paycare’s support of Libra Lea will see it update its equipment and develop the younger members of the club, by supporting them with one-to-one coaching and training programmes. This will ensure that the juniors are provided with the support they need and that the club continues to thrive.

Kevin Rogers, CEO of Paycare, added: “We’re passionate advocates of helping people live a healthy and active lifestyle, and both clubs do an excellent job of making sport readily accessible to the community. We’re delighted to be supporting Libra Lea Netball Club and Penn Cricket Club and look forward to celebrating their successes in the months and years to come.”

For over 140 years Paycare has offered health cover to individuals, families and businesses throughout Wolverhampton and the Black Country to enable them to protect themselves against medical bills.
